Ready to swap the sofa for some real saddle time? Sofa to Saddle – Rossendale is the perfect way to kickstart your cycling journey, rediscover your confidence, or simply enjoy a fun day out in the fresh air.
Come ride with us in the stunning surroundings of Stubbylee Park—a beautiful spot to learn new skills, meet like-minded people, and build confidence at your own pace. Whether you're a complete beginner or just a bit rusty, this 6 WEEK friendly, supportive course is designed to help you enjoy every moment on two wheels.
What to Expect:
A welcoming, no-pressure environment
Bikes and helmets provided for free
Gentle guidance to get you comfortable and confident
Local cycle path rides, with optional progression to road cycling skills

Level 1 Horticulture Course
When: Mondays from 13th April.
Every Monday from 1pm to 3.30pm throughout the year.
Cost: Free to benefit recipients in Lancashire.
Location: Stubbylee Community Greenhouses
Info: An introduction to get a deeper understanding of all aspects of horticulture, soil preparation, plant maintenance, weed identification, seed sowing and propagation. If you have the time and inclination, come along for this fantastic course that could progress onto a Level 2 with a City & Guilds qualification in horticulture!

Improving Mental Health Course (Group 14)
When: Tuesday from 24th February. 1.30pm-3pm
8-week course every Tuesday afternoon.
Cost: Free to benefit recipients in Lancashire.
Location: Stubbylee Community Greenhouses
Info: A psychoeducational course where participants are welcome to discuss relevant experiences should they wish. This is not an expectation and we must emphasise that this is not a counselling course and therefore, not an appropriate place to disclose past trauma as this could be triggering for others.
This course covers the following:
Getting the Basics Right; Looking at sleep, nutrition, and activity.
Stress and Anxiety.
Depression and Low Mood.
5 Ways of Wellbeing; including a visit from our Social Prescriber Debbie Dewhurst.
Indentity, Self-Esteem, & Boundaries.
Managing Emotions; including building a personalised wellbeing toolkit.
